Training and Education The ANF is a Nationally Registered Training Organisation (RTO) (NTIS Registration number 40180) who offer quality training by Professional staff and is committed to maintaining excellence in all fields of nursing. The ANF RTO currently offers nationally recognised training in Certificate III in Aged Care CHC30102 and Certificate III in Home and Community Care CHC30202. Aged care and community care are rewarding professions. They allow you to contribute to the care of older Australians and the community in general. These courses can also lead to a career pathway in nursing, whether it be Enrolled Nursing or Registered Nursing. We have training rooms in South Brisbane and Darwin. The ANF RTO offer “traineeships” to eligible participants. Traineeships are a form of Australian Apprenticeship funded by local governments to assist the workforce in addressing skills shortages. Funding in QLD is available through Department of Education, Training and the Arts (DETA). Funding in the Northern Territory is available through the Department of Employment, Education and Training, (DEET). The ANF also access funding through the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing and the Australian Governments Productivity Places Program. Traineeships allow participants to access training for a reduced fee or in some cases for free. The ANF RTO offer fee paying courses to participants who are not eligible for a traineeship. To find out if you are eligible for a traineeship, please contact the ANF RTO at: rto@anf.org.au The Productivity Places Program is a part of the Australian Governments Skilling Australia for the Future Initiative and is a great way to improve your skills and secure ongoing employment. ANF is an approved provider of training under this initiative. If you are an eligible job seeker the Australian Government will fully fund training under the program. Eligible Qualifications: Certificate III in Aged Care CHC30102 Certificate III in Home and Community Care CHC30202 Eligible qualifications are those identified by the Industry Skills Council (ISC) in consultation with the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR), as appropriate to meet identified skills shortages in the Australian workforce. Eligible Participants: At this stage PPP is available for job seekers only. In the programs next phase, funding will be offered to existing workers to attain a qualification or upgrade their skills. Eligible job seekers are Australian citizens or permanent residents over the age of 15 and;
