Urgent Notice to Nurses Employed by McKesson Asia-Pacific
McKesson Demands A Non-Union Agreement
What is your view?
Dear McKesson nurse
You may recently have become aware that your employer, McKesson Asia-Pacific, intends to develop a non-union collective agreement which will set the pay and conditions for its nursing staff across Australia.
Currently your pay and conditions are set out in arrangements mainly negotiated by the ANF.
The ANF has approached McKesson to request that they negotiate a collective agreement with us on your behalf; however McKesson has refused to negotiate a union collective agreement with ANF.
You have a right to be represented by your union.
Last year’s federal election was largely fought around the issue of WorkChoices, including the right of employees to have their choice of representation recognised by their employers.
It is very disappointing to see a company proceeding as if the Australian electorate did not make their views clear in relation to fairness in the workplace.
If you want to register your view on ANF representing you for a union collective agreement please answer the following question.
