WORKING SAFELY… HAVE YOUR SAY
Health professionals, teachers and police officers working in rural and remote locations in Australia with a population of less than 25,000 people are invited to participate in a national online survey about workplace safety. This survey is contributing to Stage 1 of the Working Safe in Rural and Remote Australia project.
The survey can be completed at www.workingsafesurvey.com.
The survey will take 7-10 minutes to complete, and all responses will remain confidential. As a thank you, participants will have the opportunity to enter a draw to win an iPod touch, valued at $200. Closing date for the completion of the survey is Friday 8 March 2012.
For any questions about the survey, please contact Lee Holloway at Urbis on 02 8233 9958 or lholloway@urbis.com.au
The Working Safe in Rural and Remote Australia project is a joint initiative of the Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA) in collaboration with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, the Australian Nursing Federation, the Queensland Teacher’s Union, Police Federation of Australia and CRANAplus. The project aims to explore a community-based approach to reduce workplace violence and improve safety for rural and remote health professionals, teachers, and police.
The survey asks about workplace safety, including any exposure to workplace violence, and effective strategies to respond to and manage workplace violence.
